Privacy and security
Colegatum exists to help you at a difficult moment. That is why it keeps the bare minimum, protects it and deletes it when it is no longer needed.
What we store
Your account, your contacts and circles, the permissions you give and notices while they are active. Only what is needed for the notice to work.
What we don’t store
Not your location, your activity or medical records. We don’t use third-party analytics, pixels or advertising.
Encrypted data
Names, emails, phone numbers, hospital and texts are stored encrypted. Searches are done without decrypting the data.
Nothing sensitive by email or text message
Messages only say that there is a notice and include a private link. The details can be seen in the app or on the website, after access is validated.
Only the people you choose
Being in a circle never gives permission to act on your behalf. Trusted people must accept and confirm their identity to raise a notice.
Notices are deleted
When a notice is closed, its details are deleted after a set period. Only a minimal record remains, with none of the notice’s content.
What Colegatum is not
- It is not an emergency service: if there is immediate danger, call 112.
- It is not a location finder or a control app.
- It is not a social network.
