Do my contacts have to install the app?
No. They can receive notices by email or text message with a secure link.
What happens when I add someone to a circle?
They receive a single message explaining what Colegatum is, who added them and to which circle. They will only hear from us again if something serious happens to you. They can opt out whenever they like, and you will see it.
Who can raise a notice on my behalf?
Only the trusted people you choose who have accepted. To raise a notice, they have to confirm their identity at that moment.
What if someone raises a notice by mistake or in bad faith?
You and your other trusted people will know instantly. You can withdraw it, and a record is kept of who did it.
Can there be more than one notice at a time?
Yes. Each notice stays active until it is closed.
Who closes the notice?
You do, when you are well again. A trusted person with that permission can also do it.
What health data is stored?
Only what is essential for the notice, such as the hospital, if you allow it to be shared. We don’t store medical records.
How long is the information kept?
Closed notices are deleted after a set period. The record that is kept does not contain the details of the notice.
Does the app watch me?
No. Colegatum doesn’t know your location or your activity.
